Almmuhit “State of Sápmi” / Launch of The State of Sápmi publication

Sámi allaskuvla, Sámiráđđi ja IWGIA (Riikkaidgaskasaš eamiálbmotáššiid bargojoavku) leat čađahan nationála iskkadeami Suomas, Norggas ja Ruoŧas gaskal 2020 ja 2023 nu gohčoduvvon Indigenous Navigator-reaiddu bokte. Juohke riikkas čađahuvvui maid servodatdási guorahallan.

Iskkadeami bohtosiid vuođul áigut dál almmuhit vuosttaš raportta. Mii leat gohčodan dán almmuheami “The State of Sápmi”. Raporttas čalmmustahttojuvvo vuoigatvuohta oažžut friddja, ovddalgihtii ja diđolaš miehtama.

Using the Indigenous Navigator tool, the Saami Council, the Sámi University of Applied Sciences, and the International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA) conducted national surveys in Finland, Norway, and Sweden between 2021 and 2023. Additionally, a community-level survey was conducted in each country.

Based on these findings, we will now publish the first report, based on the results. We have called the publication “The state of Sápmi”.This first report focuses on the right to Free, Prior, and Informed Consent.

Ved hjelp av Indigenous Navigator-verktøyet gjennomførte Samerådet, Samisk høgskole og International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA) nasjonale undersøkelser i Finland, Norge og Sverige mellom 2021 og 2023. I tillegg ble det gjennomført en undersøkelse på lokalsamfunnsnivå i hvert land.

Basert på disse funnene vil vi nå publisere den første rapporten. Vi har kalt publikasjonen «Tilstanden i Sápmi». Denne første rapporten fokuserer på retten til fritt, forhåndsinformert samtykke.
